UPDATE: Megan Wants a Murderer August 21, 2009

UPDATE: RYAN JENKINS WAS FOUND DEAD IN A HOTEL ROOM IN BRITISH COLUMBIA.  IT APPEARS HE COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER GOING ON THE RUN AFTER THE MURDER OF HIS WIFE.  READ ON FOR THE FULL STORY.

If they plan to air Megan Wants a Millionaire on VH1 again, they best change the name because one contestant from the show is on the run.  Here’s the “facts” as we know them so far:

— Ryan Jenkins was on several episodes of Megan Wants a Millionaire.  He did win a one-on-one date with her, where they went to dinner and kissed.  Other men on the show nicknamed him “Smooth Operator.”  He did not win.

— He has already completed a season of I Love Money 3 as one of Megan’s cast-offs, and it is said that he did win that $250,000 grand prize.  Directly thereafter, he met his wife , Jasmine Fiore, in Vegas.

— After 2 days, they got married.  Her mom claims the marriage was annulled, though there is no record of such.  US Magazine describes Jasmine as his “ex-wife” but it has yet to be proven that they were divorced.

— Before Megan Wants a Millionaire, he was convicted of assault for hitting an ex-girlfriend and was on 15-month probation.  He was once more charged for domestic battery after punching Fiore in the arm.

— Jasmine’s body was found, nude, with the teeth and fingers removed, in a suitcase in a trash bin in Buena Vista, California.  He crossed the border to Canada on foot through Washington state.  His bail is set at $10 million, he’s not been found, but he is being charged with murder once picked up.

I know that VH1 is known to have some of the trashier contestants on their shows (Daisy of Love, Rock of Love, Flavor of Love, Real Change of Love) but this is taking it to a whole new level.  They might want to reconsider admitting people who have a felony on their record.  I would be surprised if either Megan Wants a Millionaire or I Love Money 3 episodes see the light of day again.

Just Saw Something Horrifying July 13, 2009

VH1 just aired a commercial and it’s of a girl walking along the beach with a metal detector.  I notice right away that it’s Megan from Rock of Love 2, Charm School, and I Love Money.  Basically, she’s whored herself out to vH1 more than once.  And she got into an infamous fight with Sharon Osbourne at the Charm School Reunion show, when she said something rude about Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon attacked her and supposedly pulled out part of her weave.

So imagine my shock when that commercial turns out to be one for Megan’s own reality show, called Megan Wants a Millionaire.  She sued VH1 over the Osbourne brawl — was this their way of settling?
